I am a mother, writer, and student. I have primary sclerosing cholangitis, cirrhosis (caused by PSC), and have survived UC, j-pouch, and various operations and complications related to that. I plan to keep outliving prognoses, so if you know a healthy type A+ individual who is looking to unload half a liver, lemme know.
I have contributed to Rag Magazine, Byways, the Daedalian, issues of the Mama calendar, and was a moderator at hipMama.com in the early two-thousands. One of my poems will appear in in the forthcoming book, Revolutionary Mothering: Love on the Frontlines, along with a whole lot of works by much better writers.
I have strong feelings about the double space following a period, the Oxford comma, and punctuation in general, but I am willing to compromise when it affects my GPA.
